Steve Jobs: RIP
I've never owned a Mac, or an iPod, and only drool about having an iPhone. The only apple we own is probably in the produce drawer in our refrigerator.
But for the man who was the innovator in computers, I thank him. For the man who helped invent what became hundreds of fonts on my computer, I thank him. And for the man who helped us learn that Toys are real, Monsters aren't really scary, and that Finding a little clownfish would melt our hearts, I thank and bless him.
Rest in peace, Steve Jobs. I think your speech is one of the finest I've ever heard. Although I only learned of it today, it has profoundly moved me and it's something I want to always remember. I hope it has that affect on my husband, who, like you, lost his job. I hope it impacts my daughter, who is always hungry for more knowledge.
Thank you for what you've done for us. We'll be expecting Heaven 2.0 or iAfterlife in the near future. Because something tells me you're not going to stop working or imagining any time soon. Blessings.
