Sophie Lancaster was a young, vibrant woman in England who was kicked to death--simply because she looked different. She shielded her boyfriend, saving his life, giving up her own.

Sophie's mother began S.O.P.H.I.E.--Stamp Out Prejudice, Hatred and Intolerance Everywhere. Their goal is to raise money to develop a unique behavioural modification game for school children to teach them about tolerance for those who may be different.

Please, take the time to watch this short animated film, depicting the last moments of Sophie's short life. It made me cry, because I want my children to grow up in a world, unafraid to be themselves.
